Changing your life could require you only to make one change or step in a different direction. Mass Appeal sought stories on how one step toward self-improvement changed our contributor’s life. Find out what they altered and improved in their lives. Read “Hourglass of Change” with Louisa Smith and Kyle Risley in this issue of “A Thin Line.” Here’s an excerpt from this article:

“Making a life change can be challenging, especially if it’s a new habit that isn’t particularly exciting, like eating better or making your bed every day. However, as a CEO, we often need to adopt tons of changes to help our businesses thrive. The life of a business leader is constantly changing, so you need to have skills that can help you adapt to new circumstances and new workflows. I’ve found one way to help make slight changes permanent is to build points in your routine that allow you to ask yourself what you should be doing. When you get these moments of reflection, they will enable you to intervene with a habit you want to continue so that you can accomplish your goals. – Kyle Risley”

Helping you become a better version of yourself is the cornerstone of Mass Appeal Magazine’s work. Often there is a thin line between where you are and where you want to be. Often, it’s that one thing you need to do to make a positive change in your life. A Thin Line reveals stories about crossing that barrier to reach your goals.
