Confidence Breaking Down Barriers

Crash into Mass Appeal Magazine.

Discipline can foster a better life and therefore increases one’s confidence. In the June issue of Mass Appeal Magazine, readers can uplift themselves through our contributors’ stories and words. The writers managed success in their respective journeys through various forms of self-discipline.

Sometimes keeping oneself on track can be done by reading inspirational words. In this month’s “Affirm,” contributor Jason Hughes helps readers find hope with his poetry.

Virgina Walton found inspiration during a dark period of her life. “Inside Out” walks us through her thoughts and feelings during a major familial death. Walton shows the readers the impossible–living after death. Her diligence is a testament to her current career.

A way to increase success at work and home is maintaining high productivity, as evidenced by Peter Dudley in June’s “Bulletproof.” Dudley encourages readers to find the balance between working hard, maintaining high self-esteem, and enjoying our time on this planet.

Elizabeth Davidson leans into taking it all in, even if that means leaving behind her idea of success. In “Surrender,” Davidson chronicles her planned career trajectory and how she moved with its constant curve-balls. She learned to trust the process of building a career.

Often a professional, personal journey becomes a group journey for coworkers. Adding more people can lead to complications, but Sheena Marundan teaches readers how to handle everyone with dignity and respect. In “Moral Code,” Marundan covers “Discipline among coworkers, a complex issue that requires careful consideration.” Ruling out the boss, what does one do when another crosses the line at work? Marundan has the answers.
