The Art of Mastering Friendship

Cherish loves one all month long, not just on Turkey day.

While November may be notable for its themes of family, it’s also a time to celebrate friendship. Whether you suffer from family estrangement, or the cost of travel is just too much, we can lean on our friends this Thanksgiving. There’s a reason the term ‘Friendsgiving’ exists. Cherish your makeshift family with Mass Appeal Magazine this month. And do so with a proper, master plan. Gain insight from our contributors to use toward work and home life.

Work It Out

To begin, Joshua Haley shares his story. In ‘Blueprint,’ Haley praises his friendships. He cites their help as a major stepping stone for his career. His business grew from their practical and emotional support. Haley’s story will make you want to call up your friends.

The game is sold, not told by Isabella Biava. In November’s ‘Art of the Game,’ Biava gives readers the rundown on travel blogging. Biava details the ups-and-downs of her years-long career. She went from a desk job as a travel representative to hitting the road herself. Biava makes the case for filling up that suitcase time and time again.

Friendship Can Be Home Too

Anita Muniz did it all on her own. She describes her uphill battle in ‘A Thin Line.’ She’s enacting change despite an upbringing of constants. Learn how she broke out of her family’s narrative. Build boundaries with Muniz’s help.

Andrea Ward’s life drastically changed through friendship. Ward’s disability seemed like a mountain to overcome, yet loving, caring friends melted it all away. As Ward grew older, out of the home, she found her friends to be crucial. They brought her success socially and professionally. Get ready to be inspired in ‘I Can.’

Lastly, we end our Master Plan stories with ‘Arrested Development.’ Contributor Tessa Barron details her personal narrative for us. Barron opens herself up, admitting a reliance on male validation. However, she pivoted. See the twist of fate that altered her perception of herself.
