Have Confidence In Serendipity

Bask in life's serendipity this August.

August is all about embracing serendipity. However, it’s also about knowing when to take charge in life. This final month of summer often incorporates a cool down of sorts. One cooldown Mass Appeal Magazine wants to emphasize? Distrust in oneself. Build confidence by accepting the serendipity of it all. And knowing the importance of putting the work in. Our contributors offer expert advice on this matter. Get started today and change your outlook by autumn.

Workplace Efforts

We begin with the ‘Moral Code.’ Ben Walker wants a more inclusive workplace for all. Walker notes the impact of active listening. He discusses the ethics of the legalities of inclusiveness too. He goes on to detail the perks of working with those with disabilities. Make an effort for all involved.

Yuxin Sun takes us on a different route. In ‘Surrender,’ Sun discusses the balance of work and play. Sun is a licensed psychologist, so they are apt to discuss the mentalities behind this topic.  It can be so powerful for one to surrender to relaxation. Surrendering leads to confidence in one’s choices.

Inner and Outer Confidence

Hop on a bike with August’s ‘Shape.’ The contributor is seasoned fitness instructor, Claudia Kwasoya. She promotes a cycling workout routine and notes its countless benefits. Cardio can transcend the body and mind. Kwasoya provides a warm-up and cooldown as well. Let the spin of the wheel heal you. It represents the cycle of chance. Of serendipity.

Perhaps serendipity is found on the page. Examine the joy of reading with ‘Inside Out.’ Audry Fryer wants us to heal ourselves with books. Maybe it’s a beloved novel from childhood. Or a new nonfiction book that keeps you up at night. A romance that features themes of chance. Or a fictional tale that inspires you to do better. Find the right book for you.

Acknowledge The Serendipity

Meanwhile, read about the dysfunction suffered by Carla Corelli. She held her head high when surrounded by an abusive family. However, inside, she saw light at the end of the tunnel. Corelli chose herself and became ‘Bulletproof’ through school. Confidence can come from the value of education.

Lastly, we end with the inspiring words of Tom Hanks. Speaking to another aspirational leader, Oprah Winfrey, Hanks discusses serendipity. Notice the chance. Appreciate what comes from the universe.
