Fashion and Beauty’s Base of Emotion

Let the emotions reign free and look good while doing so.

Emotion extends to fashion and beauty. Dressing how you feel. Waterproof mascara just in case the tears come. Hair mimicking your passion. Expressing how you feel on the inside with the outside. This is what we celebrate this October. The stylish, beauty-minded contributors of Mass Appeal Magazine help us out here. Here’s a preview of what’s to come this autumn.

The Beauty of Emotion

We begin with ease. ‘Beauty Bar’ highlights grapes for their nutritional benefits and skincare advantages. Daniel Meursing provides recipes for a cocktail, and hydrating face mask. Meursing keeps us relaxed with the hectic time ahead. Autumn is a time for appreciating what was and what can be.

Then, Akanksha Kulkarni provides their insight in ‘Skinn.’ Kulkarni emphasizes the importance of a stress-free life for skin health. This means maintaining one’s routine. Only taking in anti-inflammatory products. Using the occasional face mask—maybe a grape infused one from Beauty Bar. Put yourself and your skin first.

Keeping with the ‘Face’ discussion, look to Laura Pucker’s words. Get acquainted with waterproof makeup products. Pucker covers waterproof mascara, eyeliner, bronzer and more. The emotions can fluctuate but the makeup stays. Shed a tear of happiness for this beauty roundup.

The leaves may be falling, but the hair shouldn’t. If damage is a concern, look no further than Muhammad Bilal ‘s piece in ‘Hair Affair.’ Reduce heat styling. Try out protective hairstyles. Bilal also provides products that are helpful. Let the locks reign free with Mass Appeal Magazine.

Fallen Leaves Fashion

Now, we move to the looks. The fashion brand spotlighted in ‘Atelier’ is Lisa Says Gah, founded by Lisa Bühler. The brand offers eco-conscious clothing, shoes and accessories. The brand is known for its playful prints. Want pasta-shaped earrings? Shop Lisa Says Gah. With stores in LA and San Francisco, the brand is one taking the fashion world by storm.

And the fashion continues this October. ‘Threads’ features animal prints. Cheetah, zebra, leopard, you name it. Kendra Alexandra notes key pieces include tailored blazers, sneakers, and fluffy jackets. Cozy up just in time for autumn. Embrace a modern and sophisticated outfit with Alexandra’s article.

‘Grooming Lounge’ takes care of men’s fall looks. Mia Anderson covers men’s sweaters. From styles to brands, Anderson keeps the fits cozy and warm. Layer it on this autumn. Try out thrifting sweaters too. Knowing a piece has history could make anyone a bit emotional.

Take care and consider for the somber affair. A funeral is a time for the right look to not distract from the grief and memory. Abhi Madan recommends brands and outfits. Keep it respectful with ‘Dress Code.’

Lastly, gain some outfit inspiration. ‘Style Icon’ features Jennie Kim (of Blackpink) and Kim Taehyung (V from BTS). Both are K-Pop stars and know how to work a look on and off the stage. Kim epitomizes the fusion of high-end and streetwear. Meanwhile, Taehyung is celebrated for his distinctive and adventurous fashion choices.
