UNCF Homecoming: Kickoff Reception To The Mayor’s Masked Ball With Honoree Anthony Anderson

Hollywood, CA, February 11, 2020 – The United Negro College Fund kicked off it’s annual UNCF Homecoming at Casita in Hollywood in honor of HBCU alum, Emmy Award, and Gloden Globe-nominated actor and producer Anthony Anderson.

The UNCF Homecoming is a celebratory kickoff reception to announce the year’s honoree. The Black History Month soiree celebrated Mr. Anderson and recognized Los Angeles leaders for using their platform to help make a difference and for supporting UNCF’s mission of education, equality, and justice.

The event offered a sneak peek into the highly anticipated Mayor’s Masked Ball. This event ignited support for the upcoming event and increased awareness for UNCF’s mission. UNCF has served as the bedrock of the black American college experience for 75 years.

UNCF (United Negro College Fund) is the nation’s largest and most effective minority education organization to serve youth, the community, and the nation. UNCF supports students’ education and development through scholarships and other programs, strengthens it’s 37 member colleges and universities, as well as advocates for the importance of minority education and college readiness.
