The Blending of Confidence and Innocence

Feel your best with Mass Appeal Magazine.

Confidence doesn’t come all at once. It’s a gradual process. And a practice in itself. Therefore, it’s important to be patient and stay curious are you boost your own. Move through it with intentional thinking and innocence. This February, Mass Appeal Magazine is here to find that balance. To grow with confidence while maintaining a childlike approach. Look inward, outward and all around. Our contributors have your back.

Healing the Inner Child

To begin, ‘Surrender’ takes us back to the early days. Peter Gradilone wants readers to look inside themselves and honor their inner child. It’s time to let go of the mundane and the demands of society. What mattered to ten-year-old you?

Maintain this momentum with February’s ‘Bulletproof.’ Find innocence within the harsh world. Licensed counselor, Pierce Biglefthand encourages various avenues to take on this journey. This includes rediscovering childhood passions and seeking confidence from within.

Outward Mobility

A quick way to boost self-esteem? Exercise. Certified personal trainer, Tessa Breeden shows us how to ease into the routine of moving one’s body. ‘Shape’ shows it doesn’t have to be scary or intimidating. A healthy lifestyle can be a gradual practice. Breeden celebrates just increasing step count bit-by-bit. A new you can begin tomorrow.

Another method to increase confidence is reciting daily affirmations. Amanda Esch-Cormier brings us inspiring words with a touch of innocence. Age is but a number as shown in ‘Affirm.’ Remind yourself of all the ‘firsts’ you accomplished with a curious mind. You can keep it up.

Innocence Now

Tyler Lowe continues our self-care journey. In February’s ‘Inside Out,’ Lowe shows us the power of innocence in the face of a difficult world. It takes courage to face it all with an open heart and mind. Nurture empathy and cultivate kindness. The confidence will follow.

The last piece in our ‘Confidence’ features is ‘Moral Code.’ Registered clinical counselor, Aditi Jasra takes the reins here. Jasra chronicles the evolution of polite behavior. Every generation has its own definition of manners and innocence. Learn how to balance generational differences, while maintaining your own values.
