Inclusivity in organizations is no longer a suggestion but a requirement. However, organizations struggle with ways to create inclusivity when the answer is not as complicated as it appears. As an African American woman who identifies as lesbian, serves in the military and has a disability – Mishon Montgomery shares the importance of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. Her lived experience, work experience, and educational experience have led her to conclude that organizations must do three things to begin creating inclusive environments.
