Beginning Anew in Summer

Country music singer-songwriter, Tony Evans Jr. is highlighted in the June issue.

The June issue of Mass Appeal Magazine begins with the Jim Rohn quote, “Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment.” The famed entrepreneur’s words flow throughout the first issue of Summer 2023, evidenced among the first impression-inspired articles.

In this edition of “910”, Tia Mula discusses breaking away from familial expectations. Although family members may be the ones to initially shape a person, discipline them and show them the world, Mula explains that anyone can challenge those conventions. An individual, no matter their beginnings, can shape, discipline and explore all on their own.

“Transferrable” contributor, Rina Takikawa knows how to break free quite well as she transitioned from the ballet world to the tech industry. Takikawa makes the case for beginning one’s tech-focused career with the discipline of dance as her skills from ballet support her to this day.

Showing initiative while also feeling supported is Daniel Fugardi’s goal as shown in “925”. With a background in youth mentorship, Fugardi wants young people to pursue entrepreneurship and shows them the best way to begin using technology.

Meanwhile, a young person already making a name for himself is Tony Evans Jr. The country singer-songwriter gets the ‘highlight’ treatment in Mass Appeal’s “On The Rise” section, written by Joe Wiggins. Evans EP, Starless, dropped earlier this year and has been playing in the headphones of country music lovers ever since.

A star in his own right, restaurateur Kam Telbi offers his insight into the ever-changing world of picking up the check in “Savoir Faire.” Telbi walks readers through various scenarios of group or two-person dining and emphasizes that paying for the meal should never be cumbersome for anyone involved.
